John Spence, Managing Partner
John Spence is a practicing project management consultant with almost 20 years of experience managing projects for Fortune 500 companies, small startups, and government organizations.
Prior to founding Integrity Partners in 2001, John served as a management consultant for KPMG Consulting, and in a variety of analytical, product management, and project management positions with the former Delco Remy Division of General Motors. A project management expert, Mr. Spence has helped a variety of clients, including the US Department of Defense, improve project schedules and reduce cost while improving project performance.
He holds a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Behavior from Purdue University, and an MBA in Finance from Indiana University. John is an associate Faculty member at Marian University, where he teaches courses in international business, entrepreneurialism, organizational behavior, and statistics. John is the subject matter expert and presenter for the “Advanced Project Management” training program published by Thomson NetG.
In addition to the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential, Mr. Spence holds certifications in the Software Acquisition Capability Maturity Model (SA-CMM-ITM), and the US Department of Defense Acquisition and Systems Development Lifecycle Process.
Rick Story, Managing Partner
Rick Story is a practicing project management consultant with nearly 20 years experience managing concurrent large scale software development projects and external management consulting engagements for the software industry, state government and Department of Defense.
Rick holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, is a graduate of the US Department of Defense Professional Military Comptroller School, the US Army Command and General Staff College, and holds the US Department of Defense Acquisition Professional Certification, in addition to the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential.
Rick is also Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserve, having served on active duty and been awarded Bronze Stars during both Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. During Operation Iraqi Freedom he commanded a Civil Affairs unit responsible for economic development and reconstruction projects in US support of two provincial governments
